Welcome back. :)
We hope you all had a wonderful Easter and Spring break!
Lots of information below...please read until the end :)
Time has flown. What an exciting few weeks it has been for our SFH dancers and family’s. Congratulations to all our lovely dancers whom took part in many performances over the March break madness. And we're not talking basketball.
Well done to dancers from beginner to championship level who came out and danced your very best at our SFH school feis. A chilly but great day!
Don’t forget to check out all the lovely photos on shutterfly thanks to Leanne Watt. And if you missed our surprise celebration for Sue for her 35 years as a TCRG we got to enjoy a cake that reads” Celebrating 35 years of lifting our hairy legs” one of Sue’s most famous saying.
To finish off a long winter we headed to worlds held in Montreal. First time even in Canada SFH proudly brought 7 Solo dancers and 2 Ceili teams. These dancers worked the hairs off their legs for months to perform on the World stage. We are nothing but proud of our Canadian girls! Hats off to all of you on your hard work and dedication to solo’s and teams along with your wonderful parents and SFH supporters. Congratulations again to our U13 Ceili team who placed 12th!
And lastly before we get into Summer, Oireachtas Boot-camp and Fall/Winter/Spring registrations….……We are happy to announce that SFH Irish Dance Studio has won the Best Small business award for the Irish Society of the National Capital Region woohoo! Thank you to all for voting!
